On Saturday afternoon on the local ground the Warkwarth club had two teams in the Hold, tho game resulting in a draw.
A meeting of the club was held afterwards when tho rules for tho pro* posed Hockey Association were submitted and approved. Hockey is to boom in Whangaroi this season. Ont of the number of Hockey players who have enrolled ono is a Timaru rep., another an Oainaru. rep., one Waikato, and a player from each of the A. and B. Auckland teams With such experienced players the learners there can bo sure of receiving good coaching.
