Perhaps there are people in Bulls who are still wondering why the social to have been held by the Women's Auxiliary was postponed. It appears that one or two of the male members of the local Y. M. C.A. objected to euchre being played, on the ground that it encouraged the young fellows to gamble, and on top of thid one of the said party threatened to leave the institution if this game was played. So sooner than lose an active member from the Y. M.C.A. the social was postponed. A start has been made on the War Memorial and it should not be long before the *tae obelißk is in position. The foundation is now being laid down.
