United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Keceived July 26, noon London, July 25 Sergt. * Mulharn was shot dead while entering Bandon Church for this, morning's Mass. He received tour revolver ballets in the head. Directly Malhen, the Chief of the Intelligence Department, went to Church and readied the holy water font ami was making the sign of the Cross, two masked men hiding in the church porch, fired several shots at point blank range. Mulhern immediately expired. The service was nusper.ded but was resumed an hour later. The priest strongly denounced the crime.
