THE HUNTERVILLE NOTES.

The Hunterville Football Club, together with those interested 'An football matters, have arranged a home match (Married versus Single) in the Domain on a date to be advertised. Both teams cjncerned are in good nick and show great form, and judging by the keen interest taken by the married men who are quite confident and have every assurance that they will beat the single men, quite h number of old reps, have been "dug up" and have every chance under the direction of Mr T. Marshall, who, we undeustand, is their captain, he being a keen and enthusiastic footballer of the old school. Taking everything into consideratiou the game will be very keenly contested and should result in a good all round sporting game. Rev. Rooke is officiating as referee, and the following teams will represent—Married : Petherick, Ben Illston, A J Illston, F Illston, Guy, Gordan, Wheeler, Butler, Stratford, tiourie, Goebel, Bunker, Henderson, K Hammond, W Hammond. Single Men? Reid, C Illston, Simpson, F Illston, Bottrell, Dalziotl, Mitchell, Grey, Coleman, BjII, Sohindier, McOalLum, Carroll," MoAlley, Clark. Hunterville Bowling Club held their fortnightly euchre party last Friday evening, the attendance not being up to the usual, the frosty weather experienced of late accounting for the absence of many. Abouft £2O nas been taken during the season by this means, which is very satisfactory for the Club on its first venture. Mrs Ensom secured the ladies' prize and Mr Q Stratford the gent's. Boobies were awarded Mrs J Branton and Mr T Still.
