THE JAPANESE TREATY United Press As?cciation—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Received July 10, 9 a m Paris, July 9 The Chicago Tribune says it is stated in diplomatic circles in Pari s that Britain is seeking a new Treaty with the Unitea States in order to protect interests in the Far East. .The Tribune states that Britain has been pressed by her Colonies not to renew the Japanese Treaty and desires a new alliance assuring the safety of Australia and New Zealand and her Asiatic possessions.
