The Miners’ Conference has passed a resolution advising the delegates to the forthcoming Trades Congress, that unless the Government withdraws the. troops from Ireland and ceases the production of munitions for Russia and Ireland, a general order to “down tools” will be recommended, with ballots wherever necessary. The conference also passed a resolution refusing to operate the mines if the Bill is passed, and urging the Labour party to vigorously oppose the measure.
