LONDON, June 26. A most remarkable gathering Oj. heroes assembled at Buckingham Palace this afternoon, on the occasion of the King and Queen entertaining 320 Victoria Cross men and their neat relatives, at a garden party. Great crowds cheered the guests asi thei inarched to the Palace, Dighton Probyn, the oldest V.C. Those unable to walk were accommodated in motor-cars and were given an especiallv warm reception. Their Majesties and the Royal family inspected the gathering, and subsequent!:, each was personally presented.
