He moved "That this Council place on record its regret conserniug the death on 37th May, 1920, of Mr Thomas Armstrong, of Marton, who was for some time a member of the Council and was 46 years a worthy and upright oitizen of the Borough of Marton, and that a copy of this resolution bo sent to Mrs Armstrong, the widow of deceased, with an expression of sympathy with her in her bereavement. John Hart, asking permission to enclose portion of Hauderson's Line from Wellington road to Tutaenui stream, and agreeing to remove gorsra and improve generally—Referred to Work:! Cornmitteo.
