A party of tribesmen led by Sheridan officers attacked Tel Afar, seizing Government buildings and killing aIJ Government officials, including two British officers, A number of the inhabitants were also killed. The crevs of two armoured cars, who visited Tel Afar next day, are reported to bave been captured and murdered. A punitive column is being sent from Mosul.
