THE RAILWAY CONFERENCE

Per Press Association. Wellington, May 35 The conference between representatives of the Railway Depart ment and the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants has not yetcouclnded. The representatives of the two parties were not sitting together daring the greater part of to-day. It is understood that the parties were examined in private, the claims and proposals submitted from the 4 S K H. on the one hand, and presumably also from the Department. There has been nothing in the nature of a breach of negotiations.
