There was only a fair demand at following prices:— Sheep: Small lambs lis to 14b 3d, medium lambs 15s 3d to 17s ad, forward ewes r.w. Southdown rams 22s lOd empty ewe? 22s 6d, enll ewes 12s'ed. Cattle: Weaner heifers £3 8s 6d to £5, empty cows aud heifers £6 10s to £6 15s, bad coloured 3yr steers £B. At our Feilding sale on Friday, 23rd April, wa had a very good entry of both sheep and cattle. There was a good clearance and following are nrices realised :-Sheep: Small lambs 123 Id to 12a 6d, anised lambs 15s to 17s Id very fair lambs 18s to 19s 2d, good lambs 19a 2d to 21s 7d. Cattle: Yearling steers £2 17s 6d, 15-month steers £4 8s to £4 18s, dairy cowe £9 10s to £ls 10s, steers £9 2s6d to £9 12s Gl, fat cows £lO to £lO as, store cows £6 Bs. Messrs Levin and Co, Lita, report liavint; held a most successful sale on Saturday last on account oi mr U. Milli Kan, on the farm Awahun Road, JTiuWIOS. hw ? prised high grade Jersays in first class condition. Bidding was animated throughout the sale and price 3 ruled high.
