Advices from San Antonio states that the Carrauza Government is tottering to its fall. Mexico City is in a state of pafise. Colonel Bnrique Berceda, brother 0% Alfredo Berceda, the Governor of the federal district of Mexico, arrived from Mexico City, renounced Carrauza and pledged himself to support Obregon. He declared that revolution is it progress in twenty Stafces. Mexico City is encircled by revolutionaries and completely cut off from the outside world, He anticipates that the entire country will shortly revolt and that Carrauza will be compelled to resign. S G Hopkins, formerly Carranza's I Attorney in tba United States, giving evidence before the Senate, said the United States winked at», Carranza's purchases of arms in the United States iu order to forward policies in Mexico and ships were allowed to leave, which was a breach of the neutrality laws, nominal fines afterwards being remitted. The Carranza regime was a hopeless failure in Mexico.
