GERMAN DISARMAMENT.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, Received April 3, 9 a.m London, April 28
The Australian Press Association understands that official circles discredit the reports from Germany referring to a large secret army immediately mobilisable, distributed over Prussian estates. The authorities admit that Pomerania is likely to cause trouble for some time to come owing to the obstructionist tactics of the remnants of Kapp’s followers, but the Allied Missions report that the work of disarmament is proceeding with comparatively little friction. On the other hand Germany’s export of arms and ammuunitiou to Finland and the Baltia States raises a difficult problem. It may be necessary to stop this traffic in view of its effect in interfering with efforts to secure world-wide disarmament.
