THE PRICE OF SUGAR.
■Received March 26, noon Sydney, March 26 Mr Hughes in announcing the increased price of sugar said Governmentwas losing £20,000 daily through having to sell at per lb. Under the new agreement retailers are permitted to buy direct from the Sugar Company.
