MANGAWEA NOTES.

From Our Own Correspondent) The dance on Friday night under the auspices of the croquet club wps not so well attended as similar functions have been; otherwise it was very enjoyable. The music was supplied by Mr Orozier, the floor was good, and the fact that there was room, tended rather to comfort. An excellent supper was supplied by the ladies. The School Committee met on Wednesday night, Mr Amer in the chair. Accounts were squared to date, the winter’s supply of firewood arranged for, and everything made ready for the householders’ meeting nest month. Surely some interest will be taken in this coming school committee election. Let us hope so.
