Z These sports, held on Mr Hancock’s grounds, .were very successful. Entries were large and competitors came from; a wide area. Master Boy Scott secured the cup presented by Mr J. Hill for the pony leaping, 14.3 and under, and Mr_ A D Scott won the "Nathan Oup in the Open Hunters. The judging of horse events'was entrusted to Mi R Hammond. He bad a difficult task but his decisions were impartial. The general arrangements were very good and the committee are assured that the gathering will grow.
