United Press Associatiou~By Elec trie Telegraph—Copyright Received March 19. noon ’’ Loudon, March 17 T The report of the Income Tax Commission is a lengthy document of 653 clauses with a number of minority reservations. In the special section dealing with the double income tax within the British Empire, the Commission recommends that an arrangement be reached between the sub committee and the Dominions, that income tax be deducted from the United Kingdom income tax subject to relief not exceeding half the United Kingdom tax, also that any further relief necessary to give the taxpayer relief, amount • ing altogether to the lower of the two taxes, should be given by the Dominion concerned. The Commission admits the administrative difficulties of giving effect to the recommendations will he considerable, but believes they can be overcome.
