LODGE RUAPEHU, NO. 128. The Installation meeting of abo V 8 at Mar ton last evening was ve ry largely attended, Bangitikei Loc.ge, Bulls, Rangatira Lodge Huntervin e , Peilding Lodge and other Lodges being strongly represent The ceremony was moot ably conducted by the outgoing W.M. Bro A J Dixon, who was heartily congratulated on his work as Installing Master. W. Bro P G Hilton - v/as Director of Ceremonies, and Bro A E Savage was Herald. In the 1. M. working the S, W. chair was, occupied by W. Bro G Cummins, and the J.W. by W. Bro J J McDonald, W. Bro Thomas being I. G., and the tools being presented by W. Bro Dnkeson, The officers were invested by W. Bro H Y Cameron. The address to the Wardens was given by W B Haydon Maclean, and that to the Brethren by W. Bro F G Hilton. Before the Lodge closed, W, Bro Hilton was presented with a handsome jewel in recognition of the ex* cellonce of his work, especially as Director of Ceremonies, an ; office he has held for a number of years. After the ceremony the visitors were entertained at a sumptuous supper at Bro. Gould’s Cafe, at which the usual loyal and Masonic toasts were dealt witn, and song and story enlivened the proceedings.
