HUNTERVILLE NOTES.

The inter-bowling match between Hnntervillo and Martun Clubs was played on Wednesday on Huntervilla green, when lino weather prevailed, which all'orded ample opportunity for a large number of spectators who crowded Clio pavilion to watch the game in progress. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies on the green, and could not have been left in better, hands Hr D. Morrision, president of the Hunterville Club, directed attention conclusion of the game to the Marton howlers present and spoke a few well chosen words on behalf of the committee, and Mr Gorrie in responding thanked the local club for a most enjoyable day', and further said they would he pleased to play them 011 their own green next Wednesday, ISth instant. This was accepted, and a team is being arranged to represent Huuterviile on that occasion. The match resulted —Huutervillo I(X> points against Marion’s 80 which gives Hnnterville a lead by 26 points on the aggregate.
