NATIONAL PROHIBITION.

[Published as Advertisement.]

There has been very little in the way of public meetings on this question in Marton during the past few months, but the address of Mr Durham on Tuesday night has resulted in a meeting being called for Sunday afternoon next in the Town. Hall, when Mr C. W. Duncumb will reply to the statements made by Mr Durham. Mr Duncumb is a very capable speaker, and is the gentleman who took up Mr R. A. Armstrong’s challenge to debate the question at Palmerston North, but Mr Armstrong declined to proceed with the debate. Mr Duncumb has very wide experience of the Prohibition campaign, and all who are desirous of understanding the question should not fail to hear him.
