LAND BALLOT.
This week the Wellington Land Board examined 161 applicants for land in the Fahiatua fe’ettlement—sections purchased from Mr W. Bidwill.
The ballot "was drawn on Thursday afternoon with the following result:— Section 1, D. O. Stuart, Section 2, A. G. Reading. Section 8, R. Welsh. Section 4, D. P. Clarke. Se.ctiou 5, J. T. Jones.
