Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a fair entry of sheep and a small yarding of cattle at their Bulls sale on the 9th instant. There was keen competition and practically all lines changed hands at advanced prices. Quotations: —Small lambs 11s lid, small mixed 2ths 18s 6d, empty store ewes 15s, 4 and oyr. ewes in lamb 24s Id, backward dairy heifers £8 2s 6d. N.Z.L. AND M.A. CO - s weekly report. N. Z. Loan and- Mercantile Agency Co. report for the week ending, June 7: We held sales atHimataugi, Rongotea, Palmerston N., and Feilding. At Feilding on Friday there was a good yarding of sheep but few eattle. Sheep showed a further recovery in price, and competition was good throughout at an advance on recent prices for good wether, lambs and forward ewes. 2th wethers ,good 27s 9 to 29s 7d, 4th wethers 27s 6d, good f.f.m. ewes r.w. Romney rams 21s 6d, good mixed lambs 15s sd, empty forward ewes 16s to 18s 2d, light fat ewes 22s 10d, fat b.f. sheep 295, fat 4th wethers 3os 6d. At Rongotea on Wednesday a small yarding sold at following prices : Store ewes Ss 4d, store cows £4 15s, forward cows £6 10s, dairy cows £7 15s to £8 15s, mixed weaners 15s to 27s 6d, good springing heifers £l3 12s 6d-
