Otaki Steeplechase—Master Webster 1, Gwynne 2, Gang Awa’ 8. All started. Won by four lengths, five lengths between second and third. Huia Handicap, one mile—Kilrnsh 1, Bagdad 2, Potentiaitly 3. Scratched : Msrqueteur, Play Off and George. Stewards’ Hack—Old Gold 1, March On 2, Tari 3. Won by half a length. Scratched: Black Mark and May Morn. Rahui Handicap, six furlongs— Astinome 1, Oratress 3, Matatua 3. Scratched: Old Gold and Idle Talk. The winner led all the -way and won by a length and a halt, a length between second and third.
