THE FREEMAN CASE.
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Sydney, June 4 . A big crowd watched the removal of Freeman from the Sonoma to the Garrison Hospital at Victoria Barracks, pending the decision of the Minister of Defence. Freeman broke his self-imposed fast last evening, when informed that he was to be removed, but is very weak after several foodless days. He had to be carried out on a stretcher. The Minister for Defence promised Mr Tudor and other Labour leaders • that the Cabinet would consider the request for a free trial for Freeman.
