WEDDING BELLS

NEVILLE GRONN. At S. Stephen's Church, Marton, on Monday, May sth, a quiet but very pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. Y. H. Kitcat, the contracting parties being Miss Evelyn fifth daughter of Mr and Mrs H. C. Gronu, of Marton, and Ellis John Neville, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J. Neville, of Glasmore, Westaea, England. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly dressed in a frock _ of ivory crepe de chine and shell pink ninon, and wore the customary veil and tiny pink rosebuds. She carried a shower bouquet of shell pink roses and asparagus fern. The bridesmaid, Miss S. Gronn, sister of the bride, wore a sweet frock of eau de nil and pink crepe de chine and black tulle hat, and carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums. MrJL. Taylor, of Palmerston North, carried out the duties of best man. £ After the ceremony a reception was held at Hawkestone, the residence of the bride’s parents, where the usual toasts were duly honoured. Amid hearty cheers the happy couple left per motor for their future home, the bride travelling in a frock of mauve crepe de chine, and fox furs.
