MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.

NEW PLYMOUTH. Mr Burgess was re-elected Mayor. All Labour candidates for the Borough Council, Hospital and Harbour Boards were defeated. Rating on unimproved value was carried by 780 to 593. The harbour loan of £300,000 was carried by a huge majority in town and country.
