A good detective story is always sure of a good welcome and the Paths people have certainly provided one in their latest feature “The Mark of Cain.” This contains all the elements of romance and mystery and has the added attraction of two uf the most popular screen-stars to represent the leading characters. One is fascinating Irene Castle The other is Moreno Irene Vernon Castle as usual is not only charming bnt entirely convincing, and the play is altogether notable The second episode of the Fatal Ring serial entitled ‘‘The Crushing Walls” will also be screened
