WELLINGTON LAW SOCIETY.

Per Press Association, Wellington, February 25. At the animal meeting [of the Weilineton Law Society th 9 following motion was passed—That this meetino records its emphatic protest against the hasty passage through Parliament of important legislation without proper end adequate consideration. It was also resolved That this meeting also protests against the delay in the publication of statutes and suggests that no alteration in law except in matters of urgent necessity should be brought into operation until a reasonable time after the passing of an Act affecting such legislation.
