STOCK REPORT Freeman R. Jackson and Co., Ltd, report ns follows, At Raelihi on Friday r we yarded--3700 sheep and 302 head of cattle. The attendance was good, and we> report a successful sale; cattle somewhat easier. However, we managed to sell the bulk of the entry at satisfactory prices. At the Wanganui sale on the 201 h inst., wa yarded 400 cattle, 0300 sheep and 35 pigs. We hud a good attendance of buyers. Sheep in good demand, and with the ; exception |of a few odd pens we report a total clearance. A nice line of 5-year breeding ewes on recount of Messrs O’Neill and Sons mad) 26s Id; also on account of Mr Olande Smith, 4 and 5-year ewes 26s Id; a pen of 4 and 5-year forward bullocks ou account of Messsrs Glenn Bros, [made £ls 17s.
