SPREADING IN ENGLAND. PEOPLE COLLAPSING IN STREETS. United Press Association —By Electric.—Copyright. London, February 21. The influenza epidemic is spreading. There were 268 deaths from influenza-pneumonia at Glasgow last week.

Forty-six Loudon firemen are suffering. Twenty people collapsed in London streets yesterday, and were taken to hospital. Five children died in one family in Worchester. On the same day the parents and two remaining chi Idren were all in bed, victims to influenza. IMPROVING IN AUSTRALIA. Melbourne, February 22. There were thirteen deaths from influenza to-day. It is believed the epioemic has passed its zenith and the numbers of cases and deathsare decreasing. Sydney, Feb 24 Open-air services were held at all churches yesterday to pray for relief fram drought and the inuflenza epidemic. There were two deaths from influenza during the week-end. The Government has announced that unless evidence showed that the epidemic was spreading the restrictions v/onld he removed within a week.

Melbourne, Fab 24 There were 21 deaths during the week-end.
