PRICE OF WHEAT.
Mr Edward Newman, in reply to inquiry, has received the following telegram from Hon. W. D; S. MacDonald, Minister of Agriculture —“Farmers in the North Island can get 6s lOd per bushel on trucks nearesfe.Railway Station without deduction of any kind for good milling wheat. Twopence per bushel less for under milling wheat, sacks Is 5d extra. ’’
