THE STEAMER FLORA.
Per Press Asssociation Auckland, February 8. The steamer Flora, on arrival from the Islands, was quarantined for 24 boars and then granted a clean bill, and berthed atphe wharfThe watersiders are now asking for a special rate of wages ana indemnity for one month against influenza. It appears that the Flora was not permitted to land the New Zealand cargo at the Island for fear of influenza and returned with the shipment.
