ESCAPE OF DE VALERA.

AUTHORITIES PUZZLED London, February 5. The circumstances of the escape of De,,Valera and others are puzzling the authorities. The prison is situated in a lonely district, and is surrounded by a wall twenty feet high, and the only entrance was closely guarded. The fact that the prisoners were wearing civilian clothes probably facilitated their escape.
