A wireless Russian report from Kieff states : Five thousand peasants, provided with machine-guvs, artillery, food, aud hospital motors, crossed the Dnieper in the direction of Plotava. Srtoug detachments of Bolshevik infantry and cavalry are constantly patrolling Petrograd and Moscow,* examining every passport aud arresting many suspects. Field-guns have been placed in the squares, aud maebue-guus at street corners. The militia has been greatly increased.
