A FAREWELL SOCIAL.

An enjoyable dance and farewell social was held in Mr T. A Duncan's woolshed at Otai r i on Satur day evening, the occasion being a farewell to Mr Percy Way, who goes into camp next weKk. supper interval Mr Lyon presented the young soldier with a hundsome inscribed wristlet watch as a mark of the esteem in which he was held by his fellow employee's. Supprr was supplied by the ladies, and the singing of "For he's a Jolly Good Fellow," and "Auld Lang Syne," brought the proceedings to close.
