STOCK REPORT. Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Tailiape on Wednesday the 27th instant, when a heavy yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle came forw rd. There was a good attendance of buyers, we report a total clearance with the exception of two small pens. Good sound breeding ewes were in good demand but all lines of indifferent sheep were dull of sale. We quote:— Mixed lambs 12s to :3s, cull lambs 5a 2d to Ss Id, 2th evws small 20s to 22s (id, 2th wethers 22s 3d to 25s Id, mixed aged ewes 12s Gd to 15s 7d good 4 and 5-year ewes 22s Gd to 4s. Cattle:—3-year to 3,1 £ years Polled Angus bullocks (good) £l6. fat bullocks to £l7 10s, 3-year bullocks to £ls ss, 2l:i-yc..r Polled Angus steers £l3, IS-mouth steers £5 2s to £6 15, weaners steers £2 17s, fat heifers £ll, frt cows £ll to £l2, empty cows £G I3s to £7 10s, cows with calf to £lO.
