B ANGIIIKEI RACING CLUB’S ANNUAL MEEiING. The nominations received for theabove meeting are more than satisfactory, the events on both daysr filling remarkably well. The weights will be declared on Monday, 11th March, and the acceptances for the first day are due on Friday, loth March, at 9 p.m., and there Is no doubt that the acceptances will bo satisfactory. In. order to adequately cope with the expected increased attendance a selling box has been erected on thqu brow of the hill which can be utilised by the racegoers who journey by train to Greatford and the Marton pnblic. The totalifcator ac commodation has been increased by an additional four selling windows and two extra pay outs in the lawnenclosure. As usual the totalisator will be conducted by Mr George Spriggens, of Wanganui. The catering will be under the supervision of Messrs Langley Bros., of Foxton, who intend to erect marquees for morning and afternoon tea, so that visitors may depend on having their demands expeditiously attended to. Mr S. Evans, of thetFeilding Hotel, ! is Tthe successful tenderer for the publican’s booths. The tract at present is in good" order, but a few showers will Hot come amiss. The Club has stabling and accommodation near the racecourse, winds will be booked on application to th» secretary.
