OHAKEA SPORTS.

SATURDAY, MARCH Sth. The eighth annual gathering of the Olyakea Club will be held in Mr F. O. Bailey’s grounds on Saturday nest, the proceeds from which will be devoted to patriotic funds. The programme includes a number of horse -events, notably, jumping, driving, tilting and thread-the-necdle. An additional event has been added. Mr J. Bull donating a trophy for the best lady’s hack and Mr J. F. McKelvie has also donated a three-guinea trophy for the open driving competition. All events are post entry. Refreshments may be obtained on the ground and hot water will be supplied free. The Marton Brass Band will render a first-class programme ,of music.
