The Minister of Railways said the Government was not prepareud to fix prices, but would introduce a Bill providing, for the compulsory miixug of wheat with maizle. PRICE OF RECRUITS. Melbourne, March 2. As the result of objections by recruiting bodies the Government lias decided to pay 10s for each recruit secured to the funds of recruiting committees instead of to recruiting sergeants, as' originally proposed.
