CHINESE WHISKY.
(Per Presi Association.) Wellington, March 1. Ah Chang was fined £3O for illicitly selling Chinese whisky. It was stated in evidence that during the months of November and December over'one hundred gallons of spirits 2.7 underproof had been handled by defendant’s firm. It was urged for the defence that the Chinese considered the spirit a medicine.
