MARTON RED CROSS.

GIFT PARCELS. Tlio following' letter, which has 1 been recently received by the secretary of the Marton Red Cross, will be of interest to the many Red Cross supporters.:—‘ Tu a’, consignment of live cases of gift parcels recently received by this Company were several parcels from your Society. These parcels have been distributed amongst the men of this unit, and the contents which consisted of socks, towels, shirts, tobacco, tinned fruits and confectionery, have been much appreoiated by the men. The parcels arrived in excellent condition, and the eatables provided a welcome break in the army ration. Wishing vonr Society every success in its good work. ”

Hobiusou, G. Skinner and J. C. 13. Walsh. In addition to the usual Red Cross necessities the Marton Ked Cross sends 48 parcels each month, through the Lady Liveropol Fund, to tho men in trenches. It is most gratifying to learn that they reach their destination.
