OFFICERS ESCAPE.

AFTER BEING CAPTURED THREE TIMES. London, Dec. 12. One continues to hear extraordinary details of the incidents of November DOtli, when the Gormans broke through on the Gonnolien front, not tho least, remarkable of which is the tale of two officers of artillery who were taken prisoner by the Germs us three times in the course of the day and dually escaped. The first time they were taken they were sent under the guard of one man to a cugo behind the German lines. They overpowered the guard and escaped. Intercepted before they reached our lines, they were again sent, still under the guard of oiio man, to the same cage. When the guard left them to go to see a wounded Gorman who lay groaning some yards away from the road, they made a bolt for it, and once more got away. A third time they were caught, and a third time started off for the old cage, to which by this time t hoy knew the road. Their guard now consisting of throe Germans, happily did not know it, so they accepted the guidance of the prisoners, who carefully led them the wrong way until they walked into our own barrage. One of our shells killed one of the guard and wounded another. The third man fled oast wards. The two officers turned west, got through our barrage safely, and reached home.
