Many thanks arc duo to the selfsacrificing band of workers £who continue to sew and knit with unabated energy. In this connection special mention must be made of the sewing handed in by Mesdames McEiroy, Jordan, Pilcher, O. Managh, J. Hoappy, Petersen, Stewart, Dierks, J. Forgusson, and by Misses Hausen, Kew, and Stewart (3).
In the knitting section Mesdames; Fraser, Kew, and Corufoot have done wonders and have produced many beautifully made comforts. Another case of garments is almost reaily and will he forwarded shortly to Wellington for shipment abroad.
