Trotsky in a two hours speech at the Soviet Congres said the Allies wore responsible for Germany’s heavy terms, 'which were quite unacceptable. Ho was going to Brest Litovsk with two convictions. Firstly, that Russia had hacked out;of the Imperialitic war and would not return. Secondly, that ho would not sign a peace on Ger man terms.
The debate was adjourned. It was evident that the conference wil approve of Trotsky’s report audl allow tho war to continue, employing guerilla methods by the volunteer army.

A GERMAN REPORT. Loudon, Jan. 29. A wireless German oflicial message states; We brought down 13 enemy aeroplanes yesterday on the Went front.
We dropped bombs on Loudon and Sheerness with good effect. The Italian attack was broken on Monte Sisemol, and a conntor-attacfc regained Mount Divalbel'a, on which the enemy had secured a foot- ( hold.
We threw hack the enemy at Col del Rosso and between Frouzela and the Brenta.
We dropped 21 tons of bombs on Castle Franco, Treviso, and Mestre on Saturday night. Big iircs were observed.

A wireless German official report says: The Italians have attacked our positions between the fesiago and the Brent.
