GOOD HEALTH OF' ARMY. London, Jan. 11. A despatch by the late General Sir Stanley Maude, dated October I lath, is published in the London Gazette. It deals with: the operations since April, which ondcd ; lathe driving back of two Turkish army corps into Jebel Hamrm and Tekrit. The despatch explains tbit abnormal heat and dust storms prevented the capture of Ramaside in July, and describes the'final captuie of the pace on September 29th. General Maude stated that the health of the troops during the summer was uniformly satisfactory, Cholera, enteric, and scurvy were either non-existent or negligible.
