GERMAN NAVAL LOSS.
TWO DESTROYERS MINED. THE BEST FLEE IN PANIC. Copenhagen, Jan. 24. An ollicer and 16 of the crow of a German destroyer have landed at Honvig, on the west coast of Jutland. They state that iive destroyers left Heligoland on Sunday. When i they had proceeded 60 miles the ■ destroyer A 77 was mined and sank, and destroyer A 76 hastened to the rescue, and it also wss mined and sank, 'whereupon the remaining three steamed away southwards. , | The whole crew of the. , S. O. S. AT SEA. New York, Jan. 24. Incoming vessels picked,up a S. O. S. signal from the steamer Bay of Kerran. which “reported that she hau lost her life bouts. AMERICAN STEAMER TORPEDOED. New York, Jan. 24. Survivors arriving at an Atlantic port, report that the American steamer Owasco was torpedoed early in December in the Mediterranean. Two lives were lost.
