BRITISH EXPERT’S OPTION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Sydney, Jan. 23. The question of wheat or meat production is occupying: considerable attention. Contrary to Mr Ashford’s advice. Professor Lel'roy, the British Government’s whed representative, told a conference of producers that a sound policy for Australia was to cultivate the largest stock of wheat possible, to meet the terriftic foodjfliortage after the war. He said that wheat can be saved from weevils and if stored properly would keep indefinitely, he would guarantee for at least five years.
