All the Canadian Press, with the ■exception of that of Quebec, welcomes the result of the election as a great moral upheaval of _ the national conscience. Canada has answered the question overwhelmingly that she will 1 help her soldiers, therefore upholding the proud position of the greatest of thQ overseas Dominions. Latest returns show only three jLaurier supporters have been elected in West Ontario. Mr Fierro Blondin, PostmasterGeneral. and Mr Seviguy, Minister of Inland Revenue, have been defeated in the Quebec Province, but other Ministers have been elected. S'r George Foster obtained the record majority of fourteen thousand.
