The attractive designs, the indelible colours, and the sound washing qualities of tobralco make it the fabric par excellence for tub frocks, blouses, children’s garments and all economic wear. Moreover tobralco is so superior in character that it is quoted by imitated fabrics. The name Tobralco on every yard of selvedge is a guarantee against inferior substitutes. A comparison in washing, appearance and quality will fully demonstrate to the most uninitiated buyer that Tobralco is in comparison the cheapest fabric of tiie kind on the market. Messrs Lloyd’s, Ltd., the house for firstgrade goods, have now a special display of the world renowned fabric in their No. 3 window. See page 1. Slim! One member of the House tolls mo (says the Wellington correspondent of the Eltham Argus) that lie will support in full the claims of the Second Division League, but iiis reasons savor somewhat of a Machiavellian nature. Ho says: “1 will support to the.fullest extent every demand that is made by the League. I know that the country cannot afford it. It would put the finances of the country in such a condition, and create such obligations that no Finance Minister would accept the responsibilities. The best thing the House can do is to accede to every demand. The services of the Second Division will then become so costly that they will never be availed of, and not a solitary Second Division man will ever go to fight for us: we will win without them. In fact, I am open now to make a small bet that even if tire Second Division goes into camp*it will never leave New Zealand's shores.”
