OHINGAITI RED CROSS SOCIETY.
The members of the above society met on the 13th inst and packed the monthly case for despatch to the central depot at Wellington. Following is a list of contents: —3 day shirts, 11 pyjama spits, 12 sheets, 2 blankets, 30 face towels, 4 nnderfiannels, 3 prs h.k. socks, 1 dressing gown, 3 pillow cases, B Rnslyn arm slings, 6 bed jackets, 5 T shaped bandages, 3 many tail bandages, -5 cap bandages, "23 khaki handkerchiefs, 7 dusters, 1 pr h.k. mittens, (5 cakes soap, 4' large tin biscuits, 18 boobs, -7 .magazines, 7 tans honey, 12 tins Rex cheese, 20 tins coffee and milk, 11 tins cocoa, 10 tins milk, 25 large .pkts cigarette tobacco. pkts arrowroot, 11 jars meat extract.
Contributions. —During September Miss E. Levien collected towards the local Red Cross -funds the following amounts: —Mr Eustace, £1; Mrs Thos. Stewart, 10s: Mrs Fenton, 10s; Mrs R.
